On this episode, my guest is Panagiotis Andreou. A wonderful New York based musician and bass player, touring all over the globe as a member of different projects.
I recognize him not only as a monster bass player, but also as a very supportive and understanding human being.
I first found out about him 12 years ago through series of YouTube videos that he made together with his band New York Gypsy All Stars. This band was definitely one of my main influences in regard to Balkan fusion music.
This podcast is a heartfelt conversation where we have discussed topics ranging from life of a touring musician, leaving the country and studying abroad in pre internet era, musicians life in New York, Mediterranean vs. the rest of the world to sharing some personal insights and opening up on the topic of taking therapy. As a cherry on top we will even briefly discuss the life of monkeys.
